The constant of the trade.

Power is not optional. Neither is doing it right.

1732 Electric Company is a Florida-based commercial electrical contractor and electrical maintenance company built for facilities that cannot afford to guess. We install, maintain, and document electrical systems to the standard the code intends, not the shortcut the schedule wants.

Who We Are

1732 Electric Company is led by a Florida Master Electrician and MBA, and is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certified through the U.S. Small Business Administration. We hold electrical contractor licensing in Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and North Carolina, with Florida as our home market.

We run every engagement, from a single feeder to a multi-site maintenance agreement, with the discipline of a much larger operation: clear scope, clean documentation, and accountable execution.

What We Do

Commercial Electrical Construction. Ground-up and build-out electrical work with a focus on healthcare and mission-critical environments where downtime is not an option.

Standby Power. Design and installation of standby generator systems that keep critical loads energized when the grid does not.

Critical Power Services. Infrared thermography, arc flash analysis, and coordination studies that turn hidden electrical risk into a documented, defensible plan.

NFPA 70B Electrical Maintenance Programs. Structured, multi-year electrical maintenance built around the NFPA 70B standard, delivered as a compliance and documentation platform, not a one-time visit.

Why NFPA 70B Changed Everything

In its 2023 edition, NFPA 70B moved from a recommended practice to a standard with mandatory language, establishing electrical equipment maintenance as an enforceable requirement rather than a suggestion (NFPA 70B, Standard for Electrical Equipment Maintenance, 2023 edition). For facility owners, that shift raises the stakes on documentation, liability, and insurability.

We built our maintenance programs specifically for that reality: qualified persons, defined intervals, and audit-ready records that stand up to an inspector, an insurer, or an attorney.

Why 1732

We believe electrical work should be provable, not just promised. Every program we run is designed to deliver reliable power, elevate the standard of the facilities we serve, and educate the owners and teams who depend on that power every day.
